weight. In these cases you will pay the actual shipping and handling charges. truWest™ will automaticly insure your shipment unless a written request to waive insurance is received in writing prior to the order entering the UPS system. United Parcel Service automaticly insures shipments valued up to $100.00. Shipments valued between $100.01 and $300.00 will be charged $1.50 for insurance. Shipments over $300.00 are charged $1.50 for the first $300 of value and $0.50 for each additional $100.00 of declared value. (Example: To insure a package worth $500.00, you will be charged $1.50 for the first $300 of declared value and $1.00 for the next two $100.00 increments. The total insurance charge would be $2.50). |
